What is Ghostedit?
GhostEdit is a brand new WYSIWYG editor focused on usability. It aims to support A-grade browsers - Internet Explorer 6+, Mozilla Firefox 3.5+, Google Chrome, Apple Safari 3+, Opera 10.50+ (it will once it has reached a stable state). Try the demo or read on for a summary of its features.
The Ribbon
The Microsoft Word style ribbon toolbar makes it much easier to access the controls you use everyday. Buttons are arranged by use context (Editing, Saving and reviewing, Looking for help, etc)
Really easy images
Images are automatically floated to the left or right and can be switched quickly using the arrow.
Resize by dragging the resize grip in the corner - it will automatically keep it's proportions as it resizes.
To delete an image simply click the X.
Contextual Controls
No more hunting along the toolbar for the 'unlink' button - the remove link button is provided right by the link you want to remove.
No more annoying popup dialog box to change the link url, edit it directly in the toolbar - it is updated as you type!
